Po is a fat boy living with his father Mr. Duck who pays more attention on his noodle restaurant rather than take care of his son, Po made friends with some bad guys and some of them are even like rascals, especially who are Monkey, Mantis, Crane, Viper, Tigress they called themselves The Furious Five.
When Mr Duck started to be aware that Po always goes out with some rascals and more reluctant to go home, he earnestly advised his son for help him turn back and he often talk about some sentences like "We all have our places in the world." to teach Po. However, Po closed his ears to his father’s words. After several days, Po decided to leave home with his five best friends.
From the day Po left home, he started to worry about what he can do and how to do to become stronger in the group; he wanted to learn their skills so he talked many times with Tigress who is the leader of The Furious Five.
“Po, to be honest you are too fat to learn our skills you cannot at least touch your toes or even see your toes, you have to find you own way to become stronger in our group. Each person has their own position to show their ability. I think you can find yours as well”
“But how? How? I need your help, Master.”
“No, you just need to believe. “
“Promise me, Po. Promise me, you will believe.”
“I... I will try.”
Po joined The Furious Five, but he only can keep watch at outside during they doing criminal activities like theft, or just bullied children for their pocket money until they met Shifu Wugui who specializes in many criminal activities in some bigger country. Po decided to follow Shifu Wugui to widen his knowledge and experiences in other country like China, when he told his thoughts with other five members they did not say anything…….
“I had already decided; please do not try to stop me.” Po says.
“We are not trying to stop you, but coming with you.” Money laughed.
“No news are good or bad.” Tigress agreed with them.

This is a nice country, people are very friendly here. In order to work more effective and efficient Shifu Wugui started to look for their target. One day, he found a house which shared by four young people, so he decided to distribute different job for each of them. With fast action Money and Crane are in charge of transfer; Viper and Mantis are responsible for collect information; Tigress just follows Shifu Wugui to protect him; and Po has to go into that family to earn their trust.
This is a beautiful house which rented by four best friends Alex; Marty; Melman and Gloria; Po became a new flatmate with them. That was a sunny day, Gloria was so happy when she found a new lodger who is fat and cute like her.
“Hey hey guys, I got a good news and bad news….haha ~ come on” She yelled after she opened the door.
“What are they? Just tell us” Alex still watching TV while he says it.
“Bad news is I found a new flatmate who is a boy again, but the good news is he is fat like me…… hahaha~~~ “
“What? Hey Melman did you hear that? Remember don't only make our toilet higher but also more wide.” Marty says.
“Why? I only need place for my neck and head” Melman says in the toilet.
“Because Gloria just found her brother.” Alex says.
“hahahaha…………..”
“What? Don't you think I am cute?!~ ………..” Gloria gainsays.
Po felt warm at that moment, he suddenly felt he loves this family but he knows what he come for. Two weeks later, Po became a star in this house because everyone loves his noodles. They treated Po like a real family member, Po felt that as well. He started to feel guilt to them but he could not betray his friends, at this satiation Po was in a dilemma.
“What happened? Po” Melman asks.
“Ah? Wh…. What happened? Nothing… nothing happened hehe…” Po stammered while he was eating chips and other cookies.
“No, my friend I know something happened to you, because you eat when you upset.”
Po was moved! He found these friends are real care about him and they know him very well. So he decided to tell them all the bad thing he did, but he did not say anything about the Furious Five and Shifu Wugui.
“Thanks, Po. Thank you for telling us the truth.” Marty first says.
Po did not believe that they forgive him! “Why?” he asks.
“Yesterday is a history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, that is why it is called Present.” Alex says.
…………Po started to cry.
Po decided to go back home, because he misses his father very much. He did not say that much to the Furious Five and Shifu Wugui, because he knows people have different philosophy if he talks too much that may bring dangers to his family and the four new friends. So he only said “You must continue your journey without me guys good luck guys”

ReplyDeleteVery interesting story, Po went to the mystery China! I like how you point out important ideas of the story by italic them, the conversation between Alex and Gloria really light up the story.
I guess the title said it all, The Journey of Life, we see how Po which in this story represent all of the teenagers, going through tough time in his life, find his true friendship and of course the love of his family.
But I have a feeling your story is not yet complete, maybe with too many ideas, too many characters, the relationships among the characters not really stand out. Also if you can extend the ending a little bit more, tell us what happen after between Po and other characters, for example what Furious Five said when they hear Po is leaving or what happen when Po return home, that will be fantastic.
But anyway, cool story, I love it!

Another thing that i really liked that you had included in your story was this quote: "Yesterday is a history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, that is why it is called Present.” It actually gave me a brighter outlook on life.
Yes, I also feel that this story is a little incomplete. Maybe you could include what happens to his and what they do when Po finally tells them the truth.
